The reference 105.003 is the last pre-Professional Speedmaster with straight lugs. An important reference in Speedmaster history, this particular model was chosen by NASA after intensive testing sessions.

 

It became the official timepiece worn by astronauts  during Gemini missions. Its nickname “Ed White” refers to the astronaut who was wearing the watch during his first Extravehicular Activity (EVA).

 

This specific model is a rare reference ST 105.003-65.  This watch has the particularity to have a Brown “Tropical Dial”. The watch comes with a late 7912 64 Bracelet with real 6 endlinks wich is correct for a -65.
